If you've saved videos to a TikTok collection or playlist, you can import the entire collection directly into your TokScript transcript library through the MCP connector.

Steps:

  1. Go to TikTok and create or open a collection/playlist.

  2. Copy the collection URL (the full link in your browser's address bar).

  3. In your Claude or ChatGPT chat, ask to import the collection.

  4. The connector pulls all video URLs from the collection.

  5. Videos are automatically added to your stored transcript library in TokScript.

What Happens Next:

  • All videos in the collection are indexed in your library.

  • You can now search, browse, and transcribe them anytime through the MCP connector or the website.

  • You can export the full list to CSV for reporting or further analysis.

Tips:

  • The import happens in the background. Depending on collection size, it can take a few seconds to a few minutes.

  • You'll see a confirmation in the chat once the import is complete, with a count of videos added.

  • Import doesn't transcribe videos automatically—it just adds them to your library. You can transcribe them later.

  • If a collection is private or you don't have access to it, the import will fail. Make sure the collection URL is publicly visible or that you're logged in.

Why This Is Useful:

  • Quickly build a library of research or competitive videos.

  • Archive TikTok collections (since TikTok collections can disappear).

  • Organize research across multiple creators or topics.

  • Prepare videos for bulk transcription or analysis.
