Which AI assistants work with TokScript?

The TokScript connector works in 11 AI apps and tools: Claude, Claude Cowork, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, Grok, GrokBot, Muse, Cursor, Perplexity and Vercel. You use one TokScript account in all of them, so your transcripts and saved library follow you wherever you connect.

How to connect TokScript

There are three ways in, depending on the app:

• Connector address (most apps): add TokScript as a custom connector, app or MCP server with the address https://api.tokscript.com/mcp, then log in with your TokScript account and allow access.
• API key: if an app can't show the TokScript login, create an API key in your TokScript web app settings and give the app that key instead.
• Vercel: Vercel connects through Vercel Connect, with your TokScript account.

Steps for the connector address:

1. Create a free account at tokscript.com. No card is needed.
2. In your app, open the place where it adds a custom connector, app or MCP server.
3. Paste this address: https://api.tokscript.com/mcp
4. Log in with your TokScript account and allow access.
5. Test it: give it a TikTok link and ask for the transcript.

What can I do once TokScript is connected?

The connector has 22 tools. Here's what they let you do:

• get transcripts for TikTok videos, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and full-length YouTube videos
• send up to 50 links at once on a paid plan, mixing platforms
• import a TikTok collection or a creator's profile, up to 3,000 videos per link (profile pulls need a paid plan)
• download TikTok and Instagram videos in HD without the watermark, and cover images for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube
• translate transcripts in 50+ languages
• search and reopen everything saved in your TokScript library

Does the connector work on the free plan?

It does. A free TokScript account works in every app on the list, within the free limit of 5 transcripts and 5 translations a day. That limit is shared across the website, the Chrome extension and the connector. Paid plans remove it. See Is TokScript free?

Do I need a separate TokScript account for each app?

No, one TokScript account covers all of them. A transcript you pull in Claude is already in your library when you open ChatGPT or the website.

Can Claude or ChatGPT transcribe a video without TokScript?
