  • Billing: Annually, charged once per year.

  • Best for: Teams, agencies, or creators who transcribe daily.

How Daily Limits Work:

Each plan's daily transcripts and translations reset at 12:00 AM UTC (midnight Coordinated Universal Time).

Your Local Time Examples:

  • US Eastern (EST/EDT): Limit resets at 7:00 PM previous day or 8:00 PM (depending on daylight saving).

  • US Pacific (PST/PDT): Limit resets at 4:00 PM previous day or 5:00 PM.

  • UK (GMT/BST): Limit resets at 12:00 AM (midnight).

  • Australia Eastern (AEST): Limit resets at 10:00 AM same day.

You can check your local reset time by going to TokScript > Account > Usage Settings.

What Counts Toward Limits:

Transcripts (count as 1 each):

  • Each video you transcribe = 1 transcript.

  • Bulk transcription of 10 videos = 10 transcripts.

  • Retranscribing the same video = 1 transcript per attempt (if it fails, usually no count).

Translations (count as 1 each):

  • Translating a transcript into Spanish = 1 translation.

  • Translating the same transcript into French = 1 translation.

  • Translating 10 transcripts into one language = 10 translations.

What Does NOT Count:

  • Downloads (videos, covers).

  • Engagement stats (likes, comments, etc.).

  • Creator profile lookups.

  • Imports (adding videos to library).

  • Exports (CSV, preview).

  • Library searches and browsing.

Check Your Usage:

  1. Log into TokScript at tokscript.com.

  2. Go to Account > Usage.

  3. You'll see:

- How many transcripts you've used today (out of your daily limit).

- How many translations you've used today.

- Your current plan.

- What time your limit resets (in your timezone).

Upgrade or Downgrade:

  • Upgrade from Free: Go to Account > Billing and click "Upgrade to Monthly" or "Upgrade to Annual."

  • Switch Plans: Change from Monthly to Annual (or vice versa) anytime. Pro-rated billing applies.

  • Downgrade: Switch back to Free anytime. You'll retain your library but lose unlimited transcripts/translations.

Payment:

All billing is handled through LemonSqueezy (not Stripe). You can:

  • Update payment method.

  • Download invoices.

  • Cancel anytime (no penalties).

Tips for Managing Usage:

On Free Plan:

  1. Prioritize. Plan which 5 videos you'll transcribe each day.

  2. Use engagement stats and creator lookups instead of transcribing when you just need basic info.

  3. Batch translations. If you need multiple languages, request them all at once instead of translating the same video multiple times.

On Paid Plan:

  • Transcribe as much as you want. No limits.

  • Take advantage of bulk transcription (50+ videos at once).

  • Translate freely into all 11+ languages.

Questions?

If you're unsure about your usage or what counts, go to Account > Usage on the website, or ask Claude/ChatGPT: "What's my daily transcript limit and when does it reset?"

Claude will check your account and tell you exactly where you stand.
