What do I do if a video won't transcribe?

If a video doesn't transcribe, one of two things has happened:

  1. No transcript exists - The video doesn't have embedded transcripts. Some videos, especially older ones or those with no speech, don't have transcripts generated by the platform.

  2. Temporary platform block - The social media site temporarily blocked access. Hit the retry button to refresh and download. This happens rarely when platforms verify you're not a bot.

If you see a "Failed" status, it means no transcript exists for that video. The original platform never generated one. If you believe this is an error, contact support@tokscript.com for investigation.
