YouTube Video Download Not Working

If you're trying to download a YouTube video through the TokScript connector and it's not working, this is expected behavior - not a bug.

YouTube video file downloads are not supported

Due to YouTube's platform restrictions and terms of service, the TokScript connector does not download YouTube video files. This applies to both single and bulk video downloads. If you include YouTube URLs in a bulk video download request, they will be silently skipped while TikTok and Instagram videos download normally.

What DOES work for YouTube

YouTube transcription works perfectly - you can get the full transcript, engagement stats, metadata, and all associated data for any YouTube video or YouTube Short. YouTube cover image downloads also work - you can download the thumbnail/cover image from any YouTube video.

For video file downloads, TikTok and Instagram are supported

Both TikTok and Instagram video downloads work through the connector, delivering HD quality with no watermarks.
