How to Download Videos and Cover Images Through AI

The TokScript connector lets you download video files and cover images directly through your AI chat. You'll receive download links that you can click to save the files.

Downloading videos

You can download TikTok and Instagram videos in HD quality with no watermarks. Just paste the video URL and ask for a download.

Example prompts: "Download this TikTok video: [URL]" or "Give me a download link for this Instagram Reel: [URL]"

For multiple videos, use bulk download: "Download all of these videos: [URL1] [URL2] [URL3] ..." Bulk downloads are processed in batches of 5, and the AI handles pagination automatically. Up to 50 videos per request. Bulk downloads are a Pro/Premium feature.

Important: YouTube video downloads are NOT supported

Due to platform restrictions, the connector cannot download YouTube video files. YouTube transcription and YouTube cover image downloads work normally - it's only the video file download that isn't available. If you include YouTube URLs in a bulk video download request, they will be skipped while TikTok and Instagram videos process normally.

Downloading cover images

Cover images (thumbnails) can be downloaded from all three platforms - TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. You get the full-resolution image.

Example prompts: "Download the cover image for this video: [URL]" or "Get the thumbnail from this TikTok: [URL]"

Bulk cover image downloads work in batches of 10. Example: "Download the cover images for these videos: [URL1] [URL2] [URL3] ..." Up to 50 images per request. Bulk cover image downloads are a Pro/Premium feature.

What you receive

For both video and cover image downloads, the connector returns a direct download link. Click or tap the link to save the file to your device.
