If you're having trouble connecting TokScript to Claude, ChatGPT, or another platform, these steps should fix it.

Common Issues & Fixes:

1. "TokScript Not Found" in Integrations

  • Make sure your app is up to date (check for updates in your app settings).

  • Refresh the integrations page (close and reopen settings).

  • Try logging out and logging back in.

  • Clear your browser cache if you're using a web-based version.

2. OAuth Login Fails

  • Make sure you're using the correct TokScript account. If you have multiple accounts, log out completely and log back in to the right one.

  • Check that cookies are enabled in your browser (required for OAuth).

  • Disable any browser extensions that block ads or scripts—they can interfere with OAuth flows.

  • Try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) to rule out browser-specific issues.

3. "Authorization Failed" or "Access Denied"

  • You may have accidentally denied access during the OAuth flow. Try connecting again, and make sure to click "Authorize" when prompted.

  • If you've revoked access before, the old token may still be cached. Log out of your TokScript account completely, wait 30 seconds, then log back in.

4. Still Logged In But Can't Use Features

  • The connection may have expired. Go back to Settings > Integrations and reconnect TokScript.

  • Check that your TokScript account is in good standing (not suspended or deleted).

  • Try refreshing the chat window (if using Claude Code or ChatGPT in a browser).

5. Connected on One Platform But Not Others

  • Each platform (Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, Claude Code) requires a separate connection. You'll need to authorize on each one individually.

  • They all use the same TokScript account—you don't need to create a new account for each platform.

Still Stuck?

  • Check your internet connection.

  • Make sure your TokScript account exists and is active (try logging into tokscript.com directly).

  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting the MCP integration from scratch.

  • If none of this works, contact TokScript support with the error message you're seeing.
