I Can't Connect / Login Isn't Working

If you're having trouble connecting TokScript to Claude or ChatGPT, work through these steps.

Check the Endpoint URL

Make sure you're entering the exact production URL: https://api.tokscript.com/mcp. Common mistakes include leaving off the "https://" prefix, using "www." before the domain, or mistyping "tokscript" as "tokescript" or "tockscript." The URL is case-sensitive and must be entered exactly as shown.

Google Sign-In Not Redirecting Properly

If you're using Google Auth and the login page isn't redirecting back to Claude or ChatGPT after signing in, try clearing your browser cookies for both tokscript.com and api.tokscript.com, then attempt the connection again. If you have multiple Google accounts signed in, make sure you're selecting the one associated with your TokScript account.

Login Page Not Loading at All

This could be a temporary network issue. Wait 30 seconds and try again. If it persists, try loading https://api.tokscript.com/mcp directly in a browser tab to see if the server is responding.

Rate Limit Error During Login

If you see a rate limit or "too many requests" error when trying to log in, wait a minute and try again. This can happen if you've attempted to connect several times in rapid succession.

"Account Not Found" or Authentication Errors

Make sure you have an active TokScript account. If you haven't signed up yet, go to tokscript.com and create an account first - you need an existing account before you can connect through MCP.

Still Not Working - Try Disconnecting and Reconnecting

In Claude or ChatGPT, remove the TokScript connector from your settings completely, then add it again from scratch using the endpoint URL. This forces a fresh OAuth flow and resolves most persistent connection issues.
