Installing the TokScript Chrome extension takes less than 60 seconds and works on any Chromium-based browser. Follow the steps below and you'll be capturing TikTok data on your very next browsing session.

Installation steps:

  1. Visit the TokScript listing on the Chrome Web Store directly: chromewebstore.google.com/detail/tokscript-tiktok-analytic/ligffiaiehimfbhjflgkkfanhfjmdaoi. You can also find it by searching "TokScript" in the Chrome Web Store, or by visiting tokscript.com/chrome which redirects to the same listing.

  2. Click the Add to Chrome button on the listing page.

  3. A popup will appear asking you to confirm. Click Add Extension.

  4. Wait a few seconds for Chrome to download and install the extension. You'll see a confirmation when it's done.

  5. Pin the extension to your toolbar by clicking the puzzle piece icon in the top-right of Chrome, finding TokScript in the list, and clicking the pin icon next to it. This makes the extension visible at all times so you can access the popup, dashboard, and settings with one click.

  6. Visit any TikTok creator profile to confirm the side panel automatically appears on the right.Supported browsers:

    • Google Chrome (full support)

    • Microsoft Edge (full support)

    • Brave (full support)

    • Arc (full support)

    • Opera (full support)

    • Vivaldi (full support)

Browsers not currently supported: Safari and Firefox. We're evaluating both for future releases. If you use one of those, the desktop app or web dashboard at tokscript.com gives you most of the same functionality.

    After installation, you'll want to:

    • Sign in to your TokScript account inside the extension to unlock syncing, the Add to TokScript button, and Bulk Link Import. You can use basic transcript copy without an account, but everything connected to your dashboard requires login.

    • Visit a TikTok creator profile to test the side panel.

    • Try the Transcript button on any individual video to confirm copy/download works.

If installation fails or the extension shows as installed but doesn't work, see "I installed the extension but the side panel isn't showing up. What do I do?"
