I'm Getting "Limit Reached" or Usage Errors

Fix free plan daily limits, Pro/Premium feature restrictions, and usage counting through the MCP connector.

If you see an error about reaching your usage limit or being restricted from certain features, it's related to your TokScript plan.

Free plan limits through MCP

Free users can perform 5 transcript extractions per day through the connector. This is the same daily limit that applies on the TokScript website. Once you've used your 5 for the day, both the website and the AI connector will show you've reached the limit. The count resets daily.

Features that require Pro/Premium

Bulk transcription (processing multiple URLs at once), TikTok collection and playlist imports, video file downloads (single and bulk), and bulk cover image downloads are only available to Pro/Premium subscribers. If you're on the Free plan and try to use these features through the connector, you'll see a restriction or error message.

MCP usage counts against your plan

Every action through the AI connector counts toward the same usage pool as the website. If you transcribed 3 videos on the website today and then try to transcribe 3 more through Claude, you'll hit the free limit on that fifth one. There isn't a separate usage pool for MCP - it's all the same account.

How to check your current usage

Log in to your TokScript dashboard at tokscript.com to see your current usage for the day or billing period.

How to upgrade

Go to tokscript.com/pricing to see plan options. The Annual plan is $39/year ($3.25/month) and the Monthly plan is $10/month. Both include unlimited transcriptions, all bulk features, and full connector access. Your upgraded limits take effect immediately - you don't need to reconnect the MCP connector after upgrading.
