TikTok collections and playlists let creators group videos together. The TokScript connector can import an entire collection or playlist with a single URL - transcribing every video in it automatically. This is a Pro/Premium feature.
What's the difference between a collection and a playlist?
A TikTok collection is a set of videos a user has saved or bookmarked. They're sometimes called "favorites" or "saved videos." A playlist is a curated series created by a TikTok creator - often organized around a specific topic, series, or theme. Both are imported the same way through the connector.
How to do it
Copy the collection or playlist URL from TikTok. It will look something like: tiktok.com/@username/collection/collection-name-7123456789. Paste it into your Claude or ChatGPT conversation and ask for it to be processed.
Example prompts: "Import this TikTok collection: [URL]" or "Transcribe all videos in this playlist: [URL]" or "Pull the transcripts and stats for this collection: [URL]"
How it processes
The connector works through the collection in batches of up to 10 videos at a time. For each video, you get the full data set: transcript, engagement stats, metadata, hashtags, audio, and thumbnail. The AI chains the batches together automatically using pagination cursors, so you just wait for the complete results.
Limits
Collections are capped at 50 videos per import. If a collection has more than 50 videos, the first 50 will be processed. The connector accepts various TikTok URL formats including short links (vm.tiktok.com, vt.tiktok.com) and mobile links.
Important: This tool is specifically for collection and playlist URLs - ones that contain "/collection/" in the path. If you have a list of individual video URLs, use the bulk transcription feature instead.
